Spent 10 years as the head coach at Rosamond High School. Won 8 league championships. League record is 85-17 (.833). Advanced to the play-offs nine times and reached the Final Four, 2 CIF Championship games with a CIF Championship Title in 2008. Averaged 18 wins a year while at Rosamond High School going 180-66 during the ten years. Has previously served as an Athletic Director for 2 years and has held numerous leadership positions.
Spent 3 years as an assistant coach at Antelope Valley College under Hall of Fame coach Newton Chelette. During the 3 years at AVC the Marauders went 70-31 with two Foothill Conference championships and one state Final Four appearance.
In his 13 years of coaching either as a head or assistant, the teams are 250-97 with 10 conference championships.
Comes from a basketball family. Has an uncle who was an assistant at Duke University for Coach Mike Krzyzewski.
Holds a BS Degreee from UNLV(1994) and a MA Degree from Azusa Pacific (1999).
Tim is well known through out the southern California area for his recruiting, coaching, and leadership skill and this will strengthen Head Coach Dieter Horton already strong staff.
